Emerald City Comic Con, Seattle, WA
April 4 - 5, 2009
While SFC will not be attending in an official capacity, look for one or more of us at this local comic con. We’ll be hoping to see Jewel Staite while we’re there! Search for people wearing “tiny jayne hats” and odds are good it will be someone from SFC and/or the Seattle Browncoats!

Norwescon, Seattle, WA
April 9 - 12, 2009
SFC will have a lobby table at this premier Northwest convention. Please stop by and find out more from our volunteers about SFC and future events.

Can’t Stop the Serenity, Seattle, WA
Summer 2009
SFC is busy planning on behalf of the Seattle Browncoats the fourth annual CSTS global fundraising event for the Seattle area benefiting Equality Now. This event focuses on a theatrical screening of the film, Serenity, and proceeds from the event are donated each year to Joss Whedon’s favorite charity, Equality Now. Check back often for more information on this upcoming annual event.

Sereniversary, Seattle, WA
September 26, 2009
The annual Sereniversary Shindig started by the Browncoats of Wayward Coffeehouse which celebrates the anniversary of the release of Serenity will this year encompass activities to raise funds for SFC and its beneficiary organizations. As in years past, the event will be held at Wayward Coffeehouse and typically features live filk music, geek/Whedon trivia, and a special skit performed by Browncoats of dubious thespian talent.
